Instructions

1.In a bowl, mix water and yeast together till the yeast dissolves. Leave for 5 minutes till foamy.
2.In a large mixing bowl, combine 2.5 cups of flour, sugar, and salt. Make a well in the middle of the mixture and add the yeast mixture, 2 eggs and butter. Mix well using an electric mixer until the dough forms.
3.Cover the dough with a plastic wrap and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
4.In a small mixing bowl, mix in cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 egg until smooth.
5.Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
6.Turn your rested dough onto a lightly floured surface. Roll it out to 1/4 inch thickness and 13 inches width.
7.Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough till about 1/2 inch on each side.
8.Sprinkle the sugar on the cheese mixture evenly.
9.Roll up the dough tightly from the long side. Use a serrated knife to cut into 12 equal slices.
10.Arrange the slices cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
