5 kg rump steak
300 g rock salt
50 g of mix color whole pepper
25 g whole coriander seeds
4 g sugar
1/2 liter of brow vinegar

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 80C.
2.Cut the rump steak into thin strips, against the grain.
3.In a large bowl, mix together the rock salt, mix color whole pepper, whole coriander seeds, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and all-purpose seasoning.
4.Add the warm water to the bowl and stir until the ingredients dissolve.
5.Add the beef strips to the bowl and mix well, ensuring that each piece is coated with the marinade.
6.Cover the bowl with a cling film and leave to marinate in the fridge for 24 hours.
7.Place the beef strips on a wire rack and put it in the preheated oven.
8.Bake for 6-8 hours, or until the jerky is dry and chewy, but not brittle.
9.Take the jerky out of the oven and let it cool completely.
10.Store the beef jerky in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
