Ingredients

6 apricots
3 nectarines
4 peaches
4 plums
1 orange , juice of
1 tablespoon caster sugar ( superfine sugar )
1/4 cup Cointreau liqueur or 1/4 cup orange liqueur

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 200C/400F.
2.Cut the apricots, nectarines, peaches and plums into halves and remove the stones.
3.In a bowl, mix together the orange juice and caster sugar.
4.Arrange the fruit halves, cut side up, in an oven-proof dish.
5.Pour the orange juice mixture over the fruit halves and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
6.Take the dish out from the oven and pour Cointreau liqueur over the fruits.
7.Put the dish back in the oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the fruits are soft and caramelized.
