Ingredients

12 lemons
6 green chilies
1/2 tablespoon cutter chili powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
200 g salt
A popular condiment in India, Lemon pickle is made with fresh lemons that are cut into pieces and mixed with spices. The mixture is then left in the sun for a few days to marinate and preserve. Instructions

1.Wash lemons and pat them dry.
2.Cut each lemon into 8 pieces and discard seeds.
3.Slit chilies lengthwise and remove seeds.
4.In a bowl mix salt, red chili powder, and cutter chili powder.
5.In a sterile glass container, put a layer of lemon pieces, then sprinkle salt mixture and chilies over the layer.
6.Repeat until all lemon pieces, salt mixture and chilies are used.
7.Close the container tightly and leave it in the sun for 4-5 days shaking occasionally.
8.Transfer the container to a cool and dry place.
9.Lemon pickles are ready to eat.
