1 lb bacon , bones or 1 lb pork neck bones
6 slices bacon , trimmed

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
2.Heat a saucepan with olive oil and fry onions until they become soft and translucent.
3.Add cloves, cannellini beans, diced tomatoes, molasses, brown sugar, bay leaves, and salt and black pepper.
4.Increase the heat and bring the contents of the saucepan to boil. Then, reduce heat and add bacon or pork neck bones.
5.Cover the saucepan with a lid and place in the preheated oven for 1 hour 30 minutes.
6.Remove from oven, discard bones, and crumble over crispy bacon slices before serving.
