2/3 cup wheat starch
2/3 cup hot water
1 cup water

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix together the pork, dried shrimp, mushrooms, onion, scallions, water, salt, sugar, oyster sauce, five-spice powder, pepper, and roux until well combined.
2.In a separate bowl, mix together the glutinous-rice flour, wheat starch, hot water, 1 cup water, and sugar until a dough forms.
3.Dust your work surface with some additional glutinous-rice flour and knead the dough for a few minutes.
4.Divide the dough into small balls.
5.Roll out each ball into a small disc.
6.Spoon some of the pork mixture into the center of the disc and fold up the edges to seal the filling inside.
7.Steam the Hom Suey Gok for 5-6 minutes or until cooked through.
8.Serve hot, garnished with some fresh scallions.
