1 1/2 teaspoons ground bean sauce
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup black tea leaves
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons five-spice powder

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 275°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2.Cut the spareribs into 2-3 rib portions and place them on the baking sheet.

4.In a small bowl, whisk together honey, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, catsup, ginger, garlic, ground bean sauce, hot pepper sauce, liquid smoke flavoring, white pepper, black pepper, cayenne pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, tea leaves, brown sugar, and five-spice powder.
5.Baste the ribs with the sauce on both sides and place them on a preheated grill or in a broiler for 2-4 minutes on each side or until the sauce has caramelized and the meat has a nice charred crust on each side.
6.Serve hot with your favorite sides.
