Ingredients

3 cups long grain white basmati rice
2 bunches green onions , minced
1 cup fresh dill weed , finely chopped
1 cup fresh parsley , finely chopped
1 cup fresh cilantro , finely chopped
1/3 cup butter ( real butter and NOT margarine )
Persian Polow-Wow-Wow is a traditional Iranian rice dish that is usually served for lunch or dinner. Instructions

1.Rinse the rice in a fine mesh colander and place the rice in a large pot filled with 8 cups of water and 4 tablespoons of salt.
2.Bring the pot to a rolling boil and start timing for 6-7 minutes. The rice should still be slightly firm to the tooth. Drain the rice.
3.In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped herbs and cooked rice, stirring until well combined.
4.With the back of a spoon, make 5-6 shallow holes in the rice. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and cook on medium-low heat for 25-30 minutes, or until the rice is fully cooked and tender.
5.Remove the lid and stir gently. Serve hot and enjoy!
