Instructions

1.Place the water, olive oil, bread flour, salt, dried basil, and bread machine yeast in the pan of a bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select the Dough or White Bread setting, and press Start.
2.Preheat an oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet, and sprinkle with cornmeal.
3.In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon olive oil, fresh basil, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and salt.
4.When the bread machine cycle is complete, remove the dough from the machine, and roll it out into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet.
5.Brush the herb and oil mixture over the top of the dough, and use your fingertips to make dimples all over the surface. Cover the dough with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 15 minutes.
6.Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown. Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
