Ingredients

3 lbs chicken , cut up or 3 lbs chicken pieces
1 medium onion , chopped
1 teaspoon ginger paste
4 garlic cloves , minced
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon coriander
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Tandoori chicken is a marinated, grilled chicken dish that originated in the Indian subcontinent. Instructions

1.Mix yogurt, onion, ginger paste, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, chili powder, and pepper in a large bowl.
2.Add chicken pieces to this mixture, making sure the chicken is coated evenly with the marinade.
3.Cover the bowl and keep in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
4.Preheat the grill on high heat.
5.Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the remaining marinade.
6.Grill the chicken on high heat until fully cooked, turning occasionally.
