1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips

3 packages cream cheese , softened

13 skinned , toasted hazelnuts
1/4 cup sour cream , room temperature
1 tablespoon hazelnut liqueur

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
2.Place 1/3 cup chocolate chips in a small bowl. Microwave on medium for 1 minute; stir until smooth. Set aside.
3.Combine vanilla wafer crumbs, chopped hazelnuts, 2 tablespoons sugar, and melted butter in a bowl; mix well. Press mixture into the bottom of prepared pan.
4.Beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. Add in beaten eggs and 3 tablespoons of hazelnut liqueur; mix until well combined.
5.Fold in 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips, and spoon batter over the crust.
6.Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until set. Cool to room temperature.
7.Melt remaining 2/3 cup of chocolate chips in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Stir in sour cream, and hazelnut liqueur. Spread mixture over cheesecake. Garnish with toasted hazelnuts.
8.Chill for at least 3 hours before serving. Serve and enjoy!
