Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter , melted
1/3 cup hazelnuts , toasted and coarsely chopped
1/4 cup brown sugar , packed
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 lb frozen white bread dough , thawed ( I used my own homemade sweet bread dough )
3/4 cup icing sugar
3 tablespoons mascarpone cheese
1 tablespoon buttermilk

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.Grease a round cake pan with non-stick spray or butter and set aside.
3.In a small bowl, mix together the hazelnuts, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and cloves until well mixed.
4.Roll the thawed bread dough into a rectangle and brush it with melted butter.
5.Sprinkle the hazelnut mixture over the surface of the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
6.Roll the dough tightly into a log and seal the edges by pinching them together.
7.Cut the dough into 12 even slices and place them in the prepared cake pan.
8.Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are lightly golden brown.
9.While the rolls are cooling, mix the icing sugar, mascarpone cheese, and buttermilk together in a small bowl.
10.Drizzle the icing over the cooled rolls and serve.
