black olive tapenade ( I use Kalamata Olive Tapenade ( Spread or Dip ) )
2 slices bread ( I use one slice of naan bread cut in two pieces )
arugula
olive oil ( optional )

Instructions

1.Preheat your panini press or heat a large skillet on medium-high heat.
2.Lay out the bread slices and spread the black olive tapenade over one slice.
3.Add a layer of thinly sliced smoked ham on top of the tapenade.
4.Slice the brie cheese into thin pieces and place them over the ham layer.
5.Add a handful of arugula on top of the cheese and cover with the other slice of bread.
6.Brush the outside of the bread slices with olive oil, if desired.
7.Place the sandwich in the panini press or skillet and cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes on each side in a panini press, or 2-3 minutes on each side in a skillet.
