Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350 F/ 175°C.
2.Dissolve the baking soda in hot water and add the oil and sugar. Stir.
3.Mix in the beaten eggs and canned pumpkin.
4.In a separate bowl, mix the flour and spices together.
5.Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then mix thoroughly.
6.Pour into 2 greased and floured 9x5 inch loaf pans.
7.Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
