Ingredients

1/4 cup dry white wine
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup onion , chopped
4 sprigs parsley
1 bay leaf
6 peppercorns
6 -8 slices bacon
2 tablespoons onions , finely chopped
4 tablespoons butter , softened
2 lbs halibut , cut into chunks
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup parmesan cheese , finely grated

Instructions

12.Squeeze lemon juice over the top.
13.Add paprika.
14.Dice the cooked bacon and sprinkle over the top.
15.Dot the top with small bits of butter.
16.Bake for 20 minutes.
17.Remove from the oven and pour the cream over the top.
18.Sprinkle with finely grated parmesan cheese.
19.Return to oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
