Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

8 ounces bittersweet chocolate , chopped
3/4 cup white chocolate chips
4 large eggs , at room temperature
1 cup superfine sugar
1 1/4 cups Guinness stout , see Note below
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/8 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
3.In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
4.In a large microwave-safe bowl, add butter, bittersweet chocolate, and white chocolate chips. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until all chocolate is melted and smooth.
5.In a separate large bowl, whisk together eggs and superfine sugar until pale and creamy. Gradually whisk in Guinness stout.
6.Add melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and whisk to combine.
7.Fold in flour mixture and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
8.Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
9.Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
10.Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
11.Dust brownies with powdered sugar before serving.
