1 lb fresh Brussels sprout
Guinness stout , to cover
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

1.Rinse the Brussels sprouts well and trim off the bottoms. Cut them in half lengthwise.
2.In a pan, place the sprouts and fill with Guinness stout until they are covered. Add salt.
3.Heat your oven to 375 degrees F
4.After around 30 minutes, check if still too wet for your liking, remove some of the liquid but leave at least an inch deep.
5.Add unsalted butter to the sprouts and stir it in. Reserve a little of the stout in the pan.
6.Roast in the preheated oven until tender and browned, adding a splash of stout throughout cooking.
7.Turn off heat, let cool.
8.Serve hot.
