Ingredients

2 frozen bread dough , thawed ( or home made bread dough may be used if desired )
2 eggs , beaten
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or 4 -5 fresh minced garlic cloves , if desired to taste
salt and pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground chuck , cooked and drained
1/4 lb sliced pepperoni , to taste
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese , to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese , to taste
1 small onion , chopped
The Ground Beef-Pepperoni Stromboli is a classic Italian dish that is essentially a rolled-up pizza. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.Roll out thawed bread dough to approximately 12x16 inch.
3.In a small bowl, mix beaten eggs with vegetable oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, ground mustard powder and dried oregano. Brush evenly over the dough.
4.Arrange cooked ground beef, sliced pepperoni, shredded mozzarella cheese, shredded cheddar cheese and chopped onion over dough. Leave a 1 inch border of dough around the filling.
5.Starting at one long end, roll up the dough and pinch edges together to seal. Place on a baking sheet and brush with remaining egg mixture if desired for a darker all-over color.
6.Place in preheated oven and bake for 30 - 40 minutes or until golden brown.
