Grilled Minced Pork on Lemongrass is a flavorful dish originating in Southeast Asia, where minced pork is seasoned with soy sauce, garlic, and ground pepper, and then grilled on skewers made from fragrant lemongrass stalks. The dish is full of flavors and a perfect balance of sweet, salty, and sour, as well as spicy if you add more chili. Often served as a snack or an appetizer in local restaurants, this dish is also a favorite main course for those who prefer leaner meat options.

Instructions

1.Peel and mince the garlic, chili, and lemongrass stalks, and place them in a mixing bowl with the ground pork, soy sauce, sugar, and fresh ground pepper.
2.Mix the ingredients well and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
3.Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat and remove the pork mixture from the fridge. Take a small handful of the mixture and shape it around a lemongrass stalk, pressing tightly to ensure it adheres to the lemongrass.
4.Repeat with the remaining pork mixture and lemongrass.
5.Grill the lemongrass-wrapped pork skewers for approximately 3-4 minutes on each side or until the pork is cooked through.
6.Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve with your preferred side dishes.
