1/4 medium onion , peeled and sliced
3 garlic cloves , peeled and minced
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 lemon , juice of
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
salt , to taste
3 tablespoons slivered almonds , toasted and chopped

Instructions
