1/4 - 1/2 cup water
2 cups frozen French style green beans ( Trader Joe 's Haricot Verts are the best )
1 1/2 tablespoons salted butter
1 -2 tablespoon slivered almonds
1/2 lemon , juice of ( of about 1/2 a lemon )
salt and pepper

Instructions

1.In a large skillet, pour in water and add the frozen green beans. Cover and cook over medium heat for 5-6 minutes, or until thawed and tender.
2.Drain any excess water from the skillet. Add the butter and slivered almonds, stirring until the almonds are lightly toasted.
3.Remove from heat and squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the green beans and almonds. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
