Ingredients

1/4 cup walnuts
1/4 cup almonds
1/4 cup pine nuts
6 fresh figs , cut into quarters ( may also use dried )
6 dates , pitted and chopped
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup water
1 lemon , juice of
1 cinnamon stick
2 cups Greek yogurt
4 mint leaves , for garnish
Greek Yogurt with a Honey-Fig-Date Swirl is a delicious and healthy breakfast or snack option. Instructions

1.In a blender or food processor, pulse the walnuts, almonds, and pine nuts until coarsely chopped. Set aside.
2.In a saucepan, combine the fresh or dried figs, chopped dates, honey, water, lemon juice, and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
3.Reduce the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruit is soft and the mixture has thickened. Remove the cinnamon stick.
4.In a small bowl, mix the nut mixture with about half of the fruit mixture.
5.To serve, place 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt in a bowl and swirl in about 1/4 cup of the honey-fig-date mixture. Top with a spoonful of the nut mixture and garnish with mint leaves.
