1 cup white sugar
1 cup honey
3/4 cup water
2 teaspoons lemon juice

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 180° Celsius.
2.In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and orange zest. Set it aside.

4.Add milk and dry ingredient mixture to the large bowl a little at a time, alternating wet and dry.

7.Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
8.In the meantime, make the honey syrup by boiling white sugar, honey, water, and lemon juice.
9.Boil for about five minutes and set it aside to cool. Once cooled, pour over the cake.
10.Allow to cool completely and serve.
