2 rib eye steaks
1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon kalamata olive , chopped
Grecian Skillet Rib Eyes are a Greek-inspired take on the classic steak dinner. The rib eye steaks are seasoned with garlic, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper, then seared to perfection in a skillet before being finished in the oven with fresh lemon juice and a sprinkling of feta cheese and kalamata olives. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 400°F.
2.Mix together garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
3.Rub seasoning mixture all over both sides of the rib eye steaks.
4.Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
5.Add the steaks to the skillet and sear on one side for 3-4 minutes until browned.
6.Flip the steaks and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes.
7.Drizzle lemon juice over the steaks, sprinkle with feta cheese and kalamata olives, and transfer the skillet to the oven.
8.Cook the steaks until desired doneness is reached, about 8-10 minutes for medium-rare.
9.Remove the skillet from the oven and let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
