Instructions

1.In a large saucepan, combine brown sugar, water, 1 tbsp of butter and 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract.
2.Heat the mixture over medium-high heat, until a rolling boil is achieved.
3.Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4.In a separate mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, white sugar, baking powder, and pinch of salt. Mix well.
