Instructions

1.In a large bowl, dissolve molasses, dark corn syrup, salt, shortening in lukewarm water.
2.Add rye flour and grated potatoes, mix to combine. Slowly add wheat flour, kneading dough, until dough is elastic and pliable.
3.Divide the dough into two and form into rounded shape loaves.
4.Lightly oil two 9x5 inch loaf pans and place the loaves inside, then cover and let rise until doubled in size.
