Ingredients

2 lbs ground beef
1 lb ground Italian sausage
1 large green bell pepper , diced
1 large onion , chopped
3 stalks celery , diced
28 ounces diced tomatoes
15 ounces tomato paste
1 tablespoon fresh minced garlic
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 lb lasagna noodle
2 lbs shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cans cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2.In a large skillet, cook ground beef and Italian sausage over medium-high heat until browned.
3.Remove the meat from the skillet and set it aside.
4.In the same skillet, add the bell pepper, onion, and celery. Sauté until the vegetables are tender.
5.Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
6.In a separate pot, cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
7.In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup and 4 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese.
8.In a 9x13 inch baking dish, add a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of the meat, vegetable, and tomato sauce mixture, and then a layer of cheese. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
9.Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes.
10.Remove from oven and let it cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
