Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs lean ground turkey or 1 lb lean ground beef ( 90 to 95 % lean )
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
1/2 - 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/4 cup skim milk
1/2 teaspoon morton lite salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 small onion , chopped
1/4 cup egg substitute , slightly beaten

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2.Combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
3.Scoop and shape into 24 meatballs.
4.Place the meatballs on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
5.Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are browned and cooked through.
6.Remove from oven, let them cool for a few minutes, and serve with whole-grain pasta or your favorite vegetable for a hearty meal.
