Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, sift in the flour and salt. Cut in the suet until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3.In a separate saucepan, mix together the sugar, cornstarch, water, vanilla, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
