1 lb Italian sausage , casings removed , crumbled
1 medium white onion , minced
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 garlic cloves , minced
2 eggs
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 lbs ricotta cheese
1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons dried basil
48 fluid ounces seasoned pasta sauce
1 medium tomatoes , sliced

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2.Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package directions; drain and set aside.

4.In a large bowl, mix together the eggs, mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and dried basil.
5.Spread 1 1/2 cups of seasoned pasta sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
6.Add a layer of noodles to completely cover the sauce.
7.Spread half of the cheese mixture over the noodles.

9.Repeat layers of noodles, cheese mixture, pasta sauce, and tomatoes, ending with a layer of cheese mixture on top.
10.Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
11.Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes.
