Ingredients

375 g chicken , minced
75 g chopped bacon
1/2 onion , very finely chopped
1 tablespoon vegemite
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon oil
4 hamburger buns
1/2 cup Miracle Whip
1 ripe avocado , peeled and sliced
2 tomatoes , sliced
1/2 Spanish onion , sliced
French fries , to serve

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.
2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced chicken, chopped bacon, chopped onion, vegemite, breadcrumbs and flour. Mix well.
3.Divide the mixture into four portions and shape into patties.
4.Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook each patty for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
5.Meanwhile, toast the hamburger buns in the oven for a few minutes.
6.To assemble the burger, spread Miracle Whip on the bottom bun, followed by sliced avocado, tomato, Spanish onion and the cooked chicken patty. Add more Miracle Whip on top and cover with the top bun.
