1 fresh lemon , sliced
1 whole orange , halved
10 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
1 dash aromatic bitters ( Angostura bitters )
1 cup golden rum ( optional )

Instructions

1.In a large saucepan, combine the apricot nectar, pineapple juice, apple cider, orange juice, and lemon juice.
2.Add the lemon slices and orange halves to the pot, along with the cloves and cinnamon sticks.
3.Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it comes to a boil.
4.Reduce the heat and let the wassail simmer for at least 15 minutes to allow all the flavors to meld together.
5.Remove the pot from the heat, and add a dash of aromatic bitters.
6.If desired, add in the golden rum.
7.Ladle the warm wassail into mugs and serve.
