1/2 cup semolina ( Sooji )

2 glasses water
3 green chilies ( Hari Mirch )
1 piece fresh ginger ( Adrak )
1 tablespoon tamarind paste ( Haldi Paste )
1/2 cup chickpeas , mashed
1 medium boiled potato , chopped
1 medium green pepper , finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Gol Gappay, also known as pani puri, is a popular street food in Pakistan and India. Instructions

1.In a bowl, mix together white flour, semolina, and salt.
2.Add enough water to make a dough and knead it for 5-6 minutes.
3.Let it rest for 20 minutes.Cut into small balls and flatten them into thin circles.
4.Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry the flattened dough until they are crispy and golden brown.
5.In a separate bowl, mix together chickpeas, potato, green pepper, cumin, chili powder, salt, and tamarind paste.
6.Fill each fried dough ball with the chickpea mixture and garnish with mint leaves, ginger, green chilies, black salt, and red chili powder to taste.
