Instructions

7.Combine the remaining 1/4 cup of milk, 3/4 cup of white sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract in a small sauce pan; bring to a boil.
8.After removing the cake from the oven, immediately pour the hot almond glaze over the hot cake.
9.Let cake cool for 1 hour in the pan before removing.
