Ingredients

16 ounces fresh ginger , pulverized
2 fresh pineapple , unpeeled
2 teaspoons yeast ( optional )
1 gallon boiling water
3 1/2 cups molasses

Instructions

1.Combine the pulverized ginger, unpeeled pineapple, and molasses in a large pot.
2.Add boiling water to the pot and stir well until the molasses has dissolved.
3.Let the mixture cool down to room temperature.
4.Optional: add yeast to the mixture and stir well.
5.Cover the pot and allow it to ferment for 24-48 hours.
6.Strain the ginger mixture into bottles and refrigerate.
7.Serve chilled and enjoy!
