Gianduia, Gianduja, or Nutella is a chocolate hazelnut spread that originated in the Piedmont region of Italy in the 19th century. It was traditionally made with cocoa powder, sugar, and roasted hazelnuts, and was used as a substitute for chocolate, which was expensive and scarce. Today, Nutella is one of the world's most popular spreads, consumed by millions of people worldwide. This homemade Gianduia recipe is an easy and delicious alternative to the store-bought version, and can be customized by adjusting the sweetness, texture, and richness according to your taste.

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.Spread the hazelnuts on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until fragrant and slightly browned. Remove from the oven and transfer the hazelnuts onto a clean kitchen towel. Rub them gently to remove the loose skins.
3.In a double boiler, melt the chocolate, and add the peanut oil and powdered sugar. Mix well and remove from heat.
4.Place the roasted hazelnuts in a food processor or blender and blend until they are finely ground. Then, fold the hazelnuts into the melted chocolate mixture.
