2 cans sauerkraut
1 can tomatoes , drained , liquid reserved
1/2 cup rice ( not instant )
salt and pepper

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
2.In a large pot of boiling water, blanch cabbage leaves for 1 minute.
3.Remove from water and drain.
4.In a large bowl, mix together the ground chuck, ground pork, rice, salt, and pepper.
5.Place a spoonful of meat mixture on each cabbage leaf, roll up and secure with toothpicks or string.
