Ingredients

4 lbs spareribs , cracked through center
1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons vinegar

1/2 teaspoon clove
1 teaspoon allspice
1 bay leaf
1 garlic clove , minced
1 medium onion ( chopped into quarters or large pieces )

Instructions

8.Return liquid to pot and heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low.
9.Blend remaining flour with enough water to make a thin paste.
10.Slowly add flour paste to the hot liquid, stirring constantly, until hot and slightly thickened.
