2 lbs spareribs , cut into serving pieces
1 teaspoon salt

2 whole allspice , and
1 clove , crushed together with a mortar and pestle
1 small bay leaf
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons tomato puree
1 cup finely diced dill pickle
2 cups water

Instructions

6.Return the spareribs to the skillet, cover with the mixture, and bake in the preheated oven for about 1 and 1/2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
