Ingredients

100 g raisins
4 tablespoons brandy or 4 tablespoons rum ( or other liquor )
125 g sweet unsalted butter , at room temperature
125 g granulated sugar
1/2 envelope vanilla sugar
2 large eggs
225 g all-purpose flour
1 pinch ground cardamom
1 pinch ground cloves
1/2 lemon , zest of , finely grated

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4.

4.Add the eggs, one at a time, and continue to beat until combined.

6.Line the baking sheet with a baking paper and make small balls of dough.
7.Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
8.Let them cool on the wire rack.
