Instructions

1.Peel the cucumber and slice it as thin as possible.
2.Add salt to the sliced cucumber and let it rest for 5 minutes.
3.Mince garlic and toss it with the chopped onion.
4.In a bowl, mix the minced garlic, chopped onion, chopped parsley/borage and vinegar. Season the mix with salt, sugar and pepper to taste.
5.Add the salad oil and sour cream/plain yogurt to the mix. Mix well.
6.Squeeze out any excess fluid from the salted cucumber and mix it with the mixture. Chill the salad for an hour or two before serving.
