1 can beef consomme
1 can frozen apple juice concentrate , thawed
2 cups apple juice
1/4 cup applejack brandy or Calvados
1 pinch white pepper , or to taste
1 Granny Smith apple - peeled , cored and thinly sliced

Instructions

3.After 45 minutes, remove the pot from heat and let it cool down for a bit.
4.Complete the soup by adding the thinly sliced Granny Smith apple and applejack brandy.
5.Adjust seasonings to taste and serve hot with croutons or bread.
