Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.In a medium bowl, combine 1 1/4 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Mix well and set aside.

4.In a separate bowl, toss together 4-5 peeled & sliced apples, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1 1/2 tablespoons of flour. Arrange the apples over the batter.
5.Dot the remaining 2 1/2 teaspoons of butter over the apples in the pan.
6.Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden-brown and the cake is set. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
