They are said to have originated in Italy but were brought to France by the famous pastry chef Catherine de' Medici in the 16th century. Gérard Mulot's Dulce De Leche Macarons are a classic version of the French delight, with a gooey Dulce De Leche filling that adds a caramel flavor to the sweet and crunchy outer layer of the macaron. These macarons are perfect for impressing your guests or treating yourself to something sweet and elegant.

7.Let them cool before adding a dollop of Dulce De Leche to one macaron and sandwiching with another.
