Ingredients

1 medium broiler-fryer chickens ( whatever 's on sale ! ) or 8 chicken parts ( whatever 's on sale ! )
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cups chicken stock , from cooked meat or 2 cups canned chicken broth
2 cups grated colby cheese
1 package sliced mushrooms
2 tablespoons butter , for sauteing
1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
1 package spaghetti or ( 16 ounce ) package angel hair pasta
salt and pepper
garlic salt ( about 4 Tbs . is what I use )
paprika ( garnish ) ( optional )
parsley ( garnish ) ( optional )
bacon bits ( garnish ) ( optional )
sour cream ( garnish ) ( optional )
Garlic Lover's Chicken Tetrazzini is a classic comfort food that feels like a warm hug on a cold evening. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.Prepare chicken by cooking and shredding or using pre-cooked chicken parts. Set aside.
3.Cook spaghetti or angel hair pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
4.In a large skillet, saute sliced mushrooms in butter over medium heat until they release their juices and start to brown.
5.Add minced garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes.
6.Stir in cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken stock, and garlic salt. Cook over low-medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sauces are combined and smooth.
7.Add half of the grated colby cheese and stir until melted.
8.Add shredded chicken and cooked pasta. Stir until well combined.
9.Pour chicken and pasta mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
10.Sprinkle remaining colby cheese over the top of the casserole.
11.Sprinkle paprika over the top if desired.
12.Bake for 25-30 minutes or until casserole is heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
13.Garnish with parsley, bacon bits, and sour cream if desired.
