Galatobouriko is a traditional Greek dessert that translates to 'milk pie'. It is a sweet pastry made with phyllo dough and filled with a delicious and creamy custard made from milk, eggs, sugar, and farina. The phyllo dough is crispy and flaky, creating a perfect contrast to the smooth and creamy filling. Galatobouriko is often served at special occasions such as weddings and holidays. It is a beloved pastry in Greece and is enjoyed as a dessert or as a sweet snack with coffee or tea.

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2.In a large saucepan, combine 1/2 cup sugar, honey, water, lemon juice, orange juice, and 1/2 cup butter. Bring to a boil and let cook for 5 minutes.
3.In a separate bowl, mix together the farina, eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla, and milk. Add this mixture to the saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring constantly. Turn off the heat and set aside.
