1/3 cup sushi nori , cut into in small pieces ( optional )

Instructions

1.Preheat a pan over medium heat and add the white sesame seeds. Toast them, stirring occasionally, until they are lightly browned. Be careful not to burn them.
2.Add the black sesame seeds to the pan and continue toasting the seeds, stirring frequently, until they start to pop and give off a nutty aroma.
3.Remove the pan from the heat and let the sesame seeds cool completely.
4.Once the sesame seeds are cooled, transfer them to a mortar and pestle or a spice grinder. Add the sea salt and sushi nori to the grinder and grind the mixture until it has a fine to medium texture. Adjust the salt to your taste.
5.Once you've achieved your desired consistency, transfer the furikake to an airtight container and store for up to 1 month.
