Ingredients

10 flour tortillas
2 teaspoons melted butter or 2 teaspoons melted margarine
confectioners ' sugar or cinnamon sugar
1 can Comstock brand pie filling ( any variety ) or ( 21 ounce ) can Wilderness brand pie filling ( any variety )
1 container soft low-fat cream cheese ( optional )
Fruit-filled dessert quesadillas are a sweet and easy dessert that can be made in under 15 minutes. The quesadillas have a crispy golden exterior and are filled with a lightly sweetened fruit filling. In this recipe, we used a can of Comstock or Wilderness brand pie filling which can be any variety you prefer. The filling adds a juicy sweetness to the dessert, making it a crowd-pleaser. The addition of cinnamon sugar or confectioners' sugar on top of the quesadillas enhances the taste, but it can be skipped if you prefer. Serve as is or with a dollop of low-fat cream cheese on top.

Instructions

1.Warm a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
2.Place one tortilla in the skillet and cook for 30 seconds.
3.Spread 2 tablespoons of the pie filling on one half of the tortilla, leaving a 1/2 inch border. Repeat with another tortilla and place on top of the first with the filling. Press down lightly.
4.Cook for about 1 minute on each side, or until golden brown.
5.Remove from the heat and transfer to a cutting board.
6.Cut the quesadilla into four wedges.
7.Brush melted butter or margarine on the top of each wedge and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or confectioners' sugar.
8.Serve as is or with a dollop of low-fat cream cheese on top.
