1 teaspoon lime juice ( not the bottled kind )

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated yellow taro root, onion powder, smashed garlic cloves, chopped parsley, and salt.
2.Mix well and add in the eggs, crushed red pepper flakes, and lime juice.
3.Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
4.Heat up vegetable oil in a large deep skillet over medium heat until hot.
5.Using a tablespoon, drop spoonfuls of the malanga mixture into the skillet and fry in batches until golden and crispy on both sides.
6.Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a plate covered with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
