Ingredients

1 lb ground pork
1 lb ground beef or 1 lb lamb
5 ounces coarse unseasoned bread crumbs
1 finely diced onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 cup water
oil or margarine ( for cooking )

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, ground beef or lamb, bread crumbs, diced onion, salt and pepper.
2.Gradually add water while mixing until the mixture is moist and sticky.
3.Heat oil or margarine in a pan over medium heat.
4.Using your hands, roll the mixture into small meatballs.
5.Place the meatballs in the hot oil and cook until browned on all sides.
6.Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
